In this assessment for Dr. Griffin's class we had to choose a word in each line of the poem " My papa's Waltz" and write comments about what the word made us think of when we read it. At first Dr. Griffin read the poem to us maybe so we can get a better understanding of the poem. After, he explain the assignment for us. When he first said what we had to do, I was like "are you serious, it cant be that easy". Also, I thought each comment we had to write it had to relate to the poem, I was wrong. Dr. Griffin said we can write the comments in whatever the word made us think about. I was relived because thinking of what the words made me think of hat relate to a poem I barley understood was going to be hard. Each word that I chose I wrote what they really make me think of some comments are personal, like the word "death" I put it made think of my grandma that just passed away. Some comments are funny, sad, and what the word really means. what This is one this easiest assignment on earth, I wish every school work was like this. This its a easy grade, there no reason why students shouldn't do it. I toke me like six minutes to complete this assignment, I finish the same day it got assign. I did this assignment because it was easy class grade, there no an excuse on earth why this assignment shouldn't be done. But I did this especially because I want to improve in understanding poems.
